David is an expert in the use of psychometrics and specialises in their use for purposes such as Selection, Personal Development, Team Skills Training, Leadership Development, Career Coaching and Building Emotional Intelligence.
Much of his time is spent working on leadership development and talent management programmes as well as high level selection initiatives. He regularly assesses candidates for our clients as well as senior candidates for the top executive search firms to assist them in the selection of the highest calibre employees for their clients all over the world.
David is a Senior Corporate Psychologist and a Director of Davitt Corporate Partners. He has been a Registered Organisational Psychologist since 2006, and an Associate Fellow since 2008, with the Psychological society of Ireland. He is also a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, and is licensed to use all psychometric assessments including the 16PF, the MBTI and all Hogan Assessments. He holds an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology from DCU, as well as Post-Graduate Diplomas in Executive Coaching (International Institute of Coaching & Mentoring, where he is an Accredited Practitioner Coach) and Statistics (Trinity College Dublin). He is also a Member of the Institute of Directors and has recently been appointed to the Board of ReachOut.com, which is an organisation dedicated to taking the mystery out of mental health. They aim to provide quality assured mental health information to help young people get through tough times.
Prior to joining Davitt Corporate Partners in 2002, David worked in the financial services and the pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
